Jobs
We build custom silicon for power electronics. Our work connects chip architecture, RTL design and verification, analog and mixed-signal engineering, and software that makes development faster.
We believe custom silicon should be accessible to every hardware company. Join us in making better chips a practical option for more products.
Our values
Start with the product
Understand the hardware, the constraints, and what a better chip needs to achieve. Build around the customer’s system rather than a catalog part.
Reason from the fundamentals
Make architecture decisions with a clear understanding of timing, area, power, and verification. Follow the details until the design makes sense.
Work as one team
Bring design, verification, software, and manufacturing into the same conversation. Share what you learn and make room for better ideas.
Build work that holds up
Write clear RTL, build rigorous verification, and make engineering decisions that carry through to real silicon. Quality is part of the process.
Team
Our technical leaders bring chip-design experience from Microsoft, Intel, and Arm. We bring hardware engineering, software, and automation together to help hardware companies move from product requirements to custom silicon.
Bryce Neil
Co-founder and CEOLeads business operations, go-to-market, and company strategy at Visibl. A computer engineer and former member of Deloitte’s OmniaAI team, Bryce brings experience across software and product development. He cofounded Visibl to make custom silicon accessible to hardware companies.
Jordon Kashanchi, M.S.
Co-founder and CTOBrings chip-design experience from Microsoft, Intel, and Arm, spanning AI accelerators, autonomous vehicle hardware, and graphics. Holds an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Connects hardware development with the software tools behind Visibl’s approach to building silicon.
Nipun Kaushik, Ph.D.
Lead Analog & Mixed-Signal IC DesignerHolds a Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University, with research focused on power side-channel attack detection and secure analog-to-digital conversion circuits. Brings silicon-design experience from Microsoft’s Advanced Sensor Technology Group, where he evaluated noise in advanced image sensors.
Our process
Apply through the role’s YC listing. Our conversations focus on your experience, technical judgment, and collaboration. Please use non-confidential examples throughout the process.
CTO and technical discussions
Begin with our CTO: discuss a chip you helped take to silicon and your specific contribution. A focused discussion on design, verification, and interfaces follows. Use non-confidential examples.
Meet our analog lead
Discuss technical collaboration, mixed-signal interfaces, and how you work with engineers from other disciplines.
Meet our CEO
Explore how your strengths and ambitions align with the company’s vision and growth.
Agree on the engagement
Before an offer, agree on scope, compensation, and availability. Any additional exercise will be explained in advance.

FAQ
How do I apply?
Use the Senior Digital IC Engineer listing on YC, or contact founders@visiblsemi.com. Keep responses and project examples non-confidential. We do not expect proprietary code or design details from previous employers.
What work and experience does this role involve?
Own digital design, verification, and synthesis handoff for a subsystem in a mixed-signal ASIC. We’re looking for strong SystemVerilog and verification skills, with personal ownership through ASIC tapeout and silicon validation. See the role listing for the full responsibilities and requirements.
Where is the role based?
This is a remote opportunity. We’re prioritizing US-based candidates with regular overlap with our Pacific-time engineering team. The listing is limited to US citizens or candidates with a US visa.
Is this contract or full-time, and how is compensation handled?
This is a paid remote contract opportunity, with scope, weekly commitment, and compensation agreed before starting. We’re also open to full-time employment. The displayed $160,000–$210,000 range is annual base salary for the full-time option only; contract compensation is agreed separately.
What is the team’s background?
Our technical leaders bring chip-design experience from Microsoft, Intel, and Arm. We combine hardware engineering with software and automation to make custom silicon more accessible. We value open communication, mutual support, and a positive contribution to how the team works together.
